The purpose of recruits training is to provide new soldiers in all of the
Army's military service to receive basic military training. Each individual obtained
the same standard and able to use the basis for attend training in the higher training
courses. The training courses must be appropriate and effective for the new soldiers.
In order to see whether the course is appropriate for the soldiers or not usually
the Army will make assessment after the 10 weeks training, but it will be for the next
recruitment.
This study is a study to find the way to develop a new military training
course to respond Army’s mission by studying the new military training methods
of the Royal Thai Air Force and the Royal Thai Navy curriculum and comparing them
to the Royal Thai Army training. In the beginning, the researcher developed a learning
system and collected similar course contents and organized a training system from
easy to difficult. The researcher also adjusts the amount of training hours per day
so that the new troops are not too tired.
The new program of training and proposed courses was applied to the
1st Artillery Regiment King’s guard recruits training unit. The result and responses
of training new recruits with the new programs was excellence. The researcher hopes
that this study will benefit to the Royal Thai Army in the future.
