This research is the studying of The Kingdom of Thailand’s National Security Policy
applying to visa approval missions conducted by The Consular General, The Ministry of Foreign
Affairs. Information technology based and electronic based visa application processing and visa
issuing processes are studied and leveraged. The finding indicates that electronic-visa (e-Visa)
reinforces the national security in discriminating the risks and threats of across the border terror
and international crime. In order to align the mission of the Thai’s national security agencies with
the national security goals, cooperation among the agencies is required. Also, the budget in
implementing the e-Visa system have to be allocated.
