Research “Way to drive traditional agricultural cooperative to the modern
cooperative concept through efficient Logistics & Supply Chain systems” aims to
identify the problem of the development on the cooperative's strategy to improve
its competitiveness and find the ways to make the collaboration between the
cooperative and social enterprise to enhance the competitiveness of Thai agricultural
products.
The results of the research show that the major problems are consist of
1. Human resource lack of experiences, knowledge, and abilities to manage the
cooperative as well as lack of the cooperation among the member 2. Laws and
Regulations did not promote working flexibility to the cooperative to create the
business competitive advantages 3. Lack of a strengthen cooperation between group
of cooperatives and 4. Lack of efficient logistics and marketing tools.
Therefore, This research concretely suggests that the cooperative have
to collaborate with the social enterprise in establishing an institution for Human
Resource Development for the Cooperative as well as connecting with an efficient
logistics & supply chain system to increase productivity and quality standards of the
cooperative for mutual sustainable growth.
