Abstract
Title : Guidelines for increasing the efficiency of the information technology
system in management of Supplies Class V (Ammunition) of the Royal
Thai Army

The objectives of this research are 1) to study the model of guidelines for
the information technology system in management of Supplies Class V (Ammunition)
of the Royal Thai Army and the application of information technology systems
2) to analyze the results of information technology system in management of
Supplies Class V and 3) to propose a method for optimizing the use of information
technology system in management of Supplies Class V. The research are continuous
mixed research. The quantitative research (Qualitative Research) was collected from
271 operational staff using online questionnaires (e-questionnaire) .The followed
research is qualitative research (Quantitative Research) by interviewing people
involved in management of Supplies Class V in policy level and the practical level.
They was analyze quantitative data by descriptive statistics for summarize the data
obtained from the study and describe the data of the study group. They analyzed
a qualitative data by Content Analysis (CA) and merged result together for research
objectives.
The results of the quantitative research study were found to be appropriate
for the initial factors of instruction manuals in the system , instructional media and
channels of communication. The process suitability of process that is convenient and
easy to understand. The productivity in the capacity of information systems that reduce
ammunition storage capacity. The results of qualitative research showed that supervision
measures should regular checks, selection the right personnel and regular transfer of
knowledge within the unit .This research introduced guidelines for enhancing efficiency in
3 areas. The consists of information systems for improve the performance, cognitive for
convey and understand to commanders at all levels Including training for staff to operate
continuously and awareness in order to set rules and regulations to be clear.
