Abstract
Title Home Owning Promotion for Low to Moderate Income (LMI) Earners in
order to Reduce Social Inequality

The objective of this research is to study #Home Owning Promotion for Low to
Moderate Income (LMI) Earners in order to Reduce Social Inequality as a part of National
Strategy/ to analyze and find the guideline of the promotion aiming not only to Reduce Social
Inequality but also for national economic development.
The qualitative research has been conducted using reference information from
diverse agencies e.g. National Housing Authority, Government Housing Bank, Ministry of
Natural Resources and Environment as well as medias and publishers. The in-depth interview had
been conducted to 3 academic specialist and veterans; 1.Mr. SurachaiDanaitangtrakul, Chairman
of the Board of Directors of Government Housing Bank (GHB) 2. Dr. VichaiViratkapan, deputy
director of the Real Estate Information Center (REIC) at Government Housing Bank 3. Associate
Prof. NiputhJitprasonk, Instructor of Real Estate Department, Thammasat University.
The study has found the guideline of home owning promotion for LMI earners still
principally requires government promotion mechanism including budget, procedure, law and
regulations etc., in order to convince cooperation and supports from the Private sector.
