The objective of this qualitative research was to study the moral and ethical
development model in hospitals under the Royal Thai Navy to be a morality hospital. The
research found a appropriate model for these developments consists of the following 6 steps: 1.
Creating good relationships between departments and personnel in the organization, let everyone
to analyze his own department and set a common goal to develop and improve the organization,
2. Brainstorming from all departments in the organization to figure -What we would like our
hospital to be. 3. Change the corporate identity by gathering all ideas of moralities and ethics
which would like to have in hospital from everyone and grouping. 4. Consensus agreement on
implementing the desirable behaviors 0 want to do good things, fix the inappropriate behaviors -
problems that need to be fixed. 5. Declare as a moral hospital by build the leading team and
leading the hospital to develop moralities and ethics under its corporate identity. 6. Evaluation
and feedback by setting KPIs for the model. Policy suggestions - Naval Medical Department
should have a complete strategy for moral development in the hospital under the navy. Set a
committee to drive the moral development strategy in the naval hospital and arrange a particular
unit to monitor and evaluate the process of solving the problems. Implementation suggestions 0
The committee should provide a manual for moral and ethical development in naval hospital and
should provide a central information system for gathering and recording data information of
moralities and ethics development in the naval hospital.
