The aims of the research plan are as follows: 1) to study and analyze the
tourism situation between government agencies, private sectors and KamphaengPhet
Historical Park community 2) to study and analyze the problems and obstacles of
community based tourism management by KamphaengPhet Historical Park
community and 3) To formulate guidelines of the managing collaboration in
community based tourism strategies by communities surrounding KamphaengPhet
Historical Park. This research is qualitative research conducted by using documentary
reviewed research and in-depth interviewing the experts from various sources or
agencies of 20 key from 4 population groups informants composed of 5
administrators or government officials in tourism 2) 5 academics with knowledge of
the art and cultural and tourism 3) 5 entrepreneurs in tourism of KamphaengPhet
province. 4) 5 tourists who visit the KamphaengPhet Historical Park.
The research findings were as follows: 1) the master plan of
KamphaengPhet Provincial and KamphaengPhet Historical Park are not responding to
community based tourism. 2) having inefficiency of tourist transportation
management in the areas 3) Lack of public relations for the outstanding of
KamphaengPhet Historical Park 4) The area of KamphaengPhet Historical Park is
divided into 2 parts causing a lack of participation with the community. Therefore
have guidelines for determininga developing a community-based tourism cooperation
strategy to achieve sustainability, consisting of 1) Strategy for elevating tourist sites. 2)
Strategy for promoting public relations and communication. And 3) Strategy
formarketing development for tourism promotion.
