นโยบาย Soft Power เป2นสิ่งที่รัฐบาลไทยได?ให?ความสำคัญและมีการผลักดัน
แนวความคิดดังกลJาวผJานนโยบายตJาง ๆ อยJางกว?างขวาง โดย Soft Power เป2นนโยบายที่ชาติ
มหาอำนาจหันมาให?ความสำคัญในการนำมาใช?เป2นเครื่องมือด?านการทูตเชิงวัฒนธรรม (Cultural
Diplomacy) และการทูตสาธารณะ (Public Diplomacy) เพื่อพัฒนาและยกระดับเศรษฐกิจของ
ประเทศ รวมถึงการสร?างภาพลักษณiที่ดีให?กับตนเอง ซึ่งการนำ Soft Power มาเป2นเครื่องมือการ

ความมั่นคงทางเศรษฐกิจและวัฒนธรรม รวมถึงสร?างอัตลักษณiของเมือง (City DNA) จนไปถึงการ
สร?าง Branding ของประเทศ

The Thai government has prioritized and advanced the Soft Power policy
through various policies. Powerful countries have been concentrating more and more
on soft power, utilizing it as a tool for public diplomacy and cultural diplomacy to
advance and strengthen a nation's economy and foster good perceptions. Policies
that use Soft Power to propel the economy and enhance Thailand's reputation in
concrete ways are necessary for Soft Power to be used as a successful mechanism in
international affairs. Crucially, this also entails transforming the Business Event or
MICE industry into a platform for successfully exporting Thailand's soft power agenda.
Therefore, it is crucial to study how the MICE industry can function as a crucial
mechanism for establishing a platform to incubate and transform Thailand's Soft
Power sector in preparation for scaling up to the global stage, in order to develop
Thailand's Soft Power sector as a tool for sustainable economic stability development.
The research emphasizes the objective of the Soft Power sectors' export
through the MICE industry, which will serve as a platform for showcasing creativity
and innovation, and the Soft Power ecosystem's operations will be integrated through
the Business Event or MICE industry. In the upstream phase, the Business Event or
MICE will function as an enabler in unlocking potential of cities and industries by
developing human resources, incubating, and transmitting advanced talents. The
Business Event or MICE will function as an advancing mechanism to develop and
advance standards that will drive industries and production to meet global demands
in the middle-stream phase. In the downstream phase, the Business Event or MICE
will function as an elevating platform for the Soft Power industry. This will generate
economic and cultural security, create a city's identity (City DNA), and ultimately lead
to nation branding.
