Thailand and India have strong bilateral relationship since
ancient times. Thailand has preserved the true ancient Indian soul, while
India suffered for thousand years under Muslim and Christen ruler from
11 century AD to 1947. Currently, world has focused on Indo Pacific and
thus, leading to emergence of Thailand as geo pivot. Thailand has
achieved an impressive overall growth with aspirations for robust
economic growth and secure prosperity. India has emerged as the world’s
fastest growing world’s large economy and takes the lead role in
developing narrative for the global south. Both countries have thorough
professional defence forces and with impeccable record of defending the
sovereignty of their respective country. Currently, the world is polarising
between USA and China thus, restricting the sovereign independence of
other countries. The overall global scenario generates a need for
additional focus on defence cooperation between these two Asian robust
growing nations. The subject is the potential area which need immediate
focus and push for lasting peace and mutual progress of both countries
and the region.ii
