การวิจยัคร้ังน้ีมีวตัถุประสงคเ์พื่อศึกษาการด าเนินโครงการการศึกษาเพื่อความเข้าใจ
อันดีระหว่างชาติของประเทศไทยและประเทศต่างๆ และเพื่อเสนอแนวทางการด าเนินโครงการ
การศึกษาเพื่อความเข้าใจอันดีระหว่างชาติเพื่อส่งเสริมสันติภาพในสถานศึกษาของประเทศไทย
ในอนาคต กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัยมี ๔ กลุ่ม ได้แก่ กลุ่มแรก เป็ นผู้บริหารระดับนโยบายของ
กระทรวงศึกษาธิการ จ านวน ๕ คน กลุ่มที่สองเป็ นผู้บริหารสถานศึกษา จ านวน ๑๐ คน กลุ่มที่สาม
เป็ นครูอาจารย์ และกลุ่มที่สี่เป็ นนักเรี ยน นักศึกษาโดยได้แยกกลุ่มผู้ให้สัมภาษณ์โดยใช้การ
สัมภาษณ์แบบไม่เป็ นทางการ ในลักษณะการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึก (in-depth interview) และการสนทนา
กลุ่ม (focus group) เพื่อศึกษาความคิดเห็นของผู้ที่มีส่วนร่วมในการด าเนินโครงการ และผู้เข้าร่วม
โครงการ
ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ผู้บริหารนโยบายระดับกระทรวงศึกษาธิการ ผู้บริหารสถานศึกษา
และครูอาจารย์ ตลอดจนนักเรียน นักศึกษา จากสถานศึกษาที่เป็ นสมาชิกโครงการเพื่อความเข้าใจ
อันดีระหว่างชาติล้วนแต่มีส่วนสนับสนุนและผลักดันโครงการการศึกษาเพื่อความเข้าใจอันดี
ระหว่างชาติของประเทศไทยจนโครงการประสบความส าเร็จท้ังสิ้น และเห็นว่ากิจกรรมที่
ด าเนินการภายใต้โครงการการศึกษาเพื่อความเข้าใจอันดีระหว่างชาติมีส่วนช่วยส่งเสริมการสร้าง
ความตระหนักเรื่องสันติภาพในกลุ่มเด็กและเยาวชนเป็ นอย่างมาก เนื่องจากกิจกรรมต่างๆภายใต้
โครงการฯ ท าให้นักเรี ยนได้เรียนรู้เรื่ องของสังคมมนุษย์ เรี ยนรู้ที่จะปรับตัว และมีความเข้าใจ
ในความแตกต่างระหว่างวัฒนธรรม ขนบธรรมเนี ยม ความคิด วิถีชีวิต สิ ทธิและหน้าที่
ประชาธิปไตย การเรียนรู้เพื่อการอยู่ร่วมกัน บนความแตกต่าง ซึ่งสิ่งต่างๆเหล่าน้ีไดช่วยหล่อหลอม ้
ใหเ้ยาวชนเกิดความรักความเขา้ใจ มีเจตคติที่ดีเรื่องการแบ่งปัน และเอ้ืออาทรต่อกนั ไม่เอารัดเอา
เปรียบผู้อื่น รู้จักการแก้ไขปัญหาโดยใช้เหตุผล ไม่เลือกใช้วิธีการที่รุ นแรง และเคารพในความ
แตกต่างของผูอ้ื่น ท้งัน้ีกระทรวงศึกษาธิการในฐานะหน่วยงานหลักในการด าเนินโครงการต้อง
แสวงหามาตรการส่งเสริ มให้สถานศึกษาจัดกิจกรรมอย่างต่อเนื่อง พัฒนาบุคลากร จัดเวทีการ
แลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้และเผยแพร่ข้อมูลข่าวสารเกี่ยวกับโครงการ และขยายผลเพื่อให้เด็กและเยาวชนมี
โอกาสเขา้ร่วมกิจกรรมมากข้ึน เพื่อให้โครงการเป็ นประโยชน์ต่อการส่งเสริมสันติภาพในเด็กและ
เยาวชนให้กวา้งขวางมากข้ึน
abstract:
ABSTRACT
Title : Associated Schools Project and the Promotion Peace in School
Field : Social - Psychology

This research is intended to study the implementation of the UNESCO Associated
Schools Project (ASP) focusing on the promotion of peace and international understanding in
Thailand and some selected countries as well as to propose the guidelines in implementing the
Project in Thailand in the future. The samples used in this research were divided into 4 groups
comprising: 5 policy-level executives of the Ministry of Education; 10 school administrators;
teachers and faculty staff; and school and university students. Informal research methods, including indepth interviews and focus-group discussion, were used to explore the opinions of project
coordinators and participants.
The research found that all the policy-level executives of the Ministry of Education,
school administrators, teachers and faculty staff, and school and university students, had
contributed and given strong support to the project. Their joint effort brought about the success of
the UNESCO Associated Schools Project (ASP) in Thailand. The research findings indicated that
activities implemented in the mentioned project helped create the awareness of peace among
children and youth. This was because these activities enabled students to learn about human
society, democracy and rights, and duties in general. More importantly, they also learned how to
adjust themselves to those with different culture, traditions, opinions and ways of life. Through
these activities, students were nurtured to embrace love and understanding, to share with and care
for each other, to exempt from taking advantage of others, to be reasonable, to avoid violence and
to respect differences of others. As the main agency in implementing the project, the Ministry of
Education is intended to further explore measures to encourage educational institutions to carry
out these activities on a continual basis. The Ministry also focused on development of concerned
personnel, organization of learning experiences and exchange of information. The project would
be further publicizedand implemented to provide children and youth with increasing opportunities
to participate in the project. In so doing, we hope that this project will help increase the
recognition of peace among children and youth.
