The descriptive research is design to studies the Landing Platform Dock
(LPD. Class) capability increased by the hovercraft. The Objectives for the study were
to study all of hovercraft performances that support the amphibious operation and
joint operation . The result will solves the ship-to-shore movement problems in the
modern the ship-to-shore movement doctrine. In this case ,the is the hovercraft
will support the LPD.’s jobs in high capacity of the amphibious.
The decision settlement of this case that a hovercraft is one of the high performance of
ship-to-shore movement transportation. The result of reasoning presents the proper in
circumstance for supporting the amphibious operation and join operation in B.C. 2009,
which is increase capability in operation and administration influence by the US
NAVY hovercraft. The required specification would be situation happened dealing the
amphibious section and appoint specified position, this is the main consideration in the
recommendation part.However, this research and development have had the weakness of unreliable of data
Although, we have been well organize and good experience that happened similar
to the pattern of The US Navy . Because of our long term relation between The
Royal Thai Navy and The US Navy in many discipline.
The most benefit is to increase of the hovercraft performance to
evacuation operation in the sea in case of other kind of hovercraft could not be
setting in each situation.
